Visiting Gosnell's Trial

After less than a month as permanent Voice of Resistance team members my wife Ruth and I took our first field trip with the group. Let me first say that I am a cook. I was blessed by God with the gift for preparing food and I intended for that to be my contribution to the team. Protesting or demonstrating is not really my forte. It takes me completely out of my comfort zone. Well, that was apparently where God wanted me.

Five of us met up in Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 8 and set up camp outside the courthouse, waiting for some word from Gosnell's attorney or notice of a verdict in the trial. Gosnell a criminal, or just unlucky?

Before I continue, let me just state that Gosnell is a criminal that deserves the death penalty. If I was asked to release the guillotine on Gosnell's neck I would accept. Once child-killing is made illegal, I support a Nuremberg style trial for "doctors" that murdered children when it was legal. Note that Nazi's that were convicted, some executed, after World War II murdered Jews when it was LEGAL to do so.

Ruth's Journey to being a Full Time Pro Life Activist 2

18 days later and my socks are still not matched. Most of the time it is two steps forward and one step back but these last two weeks were three steps back. I have had 2 more eye surgeries. That is four in four months. I really do not like medical treatment. I had planned after my babies never to seek it again. I am willing to die to avoid medical treatment but I am not it seems willing to go blind. It is hard to pack when you can't bend over or lift any thing heavy. (a real pound limit would have been useful but not given) I also so out of the loop with our group that doubts are heavy upon me . The what if(s) are taking me over. The only thing I am still sure of is child killing is wrong and our county will not be blessed again until it ends. So tomorrow I will find some light things to...
